ABOUT EXECUTIVE SYSTEMS, INC.
Built on experience.
Carried forward by family.
Executive Systems, Inc. has been part of the telecommunications industry since 1967. What began with Arthur “Art” Putnam grew through decades of changing business communication technology and continues today under the leadership of his daughter, Nita R. Putnam.
From answering machines and PBX systems to hosted and cloud-based voice communications, ESI has adapted as the industry has changed.
A company story shaped by change—and continuity.
Executive Systems was founded by Arthur “Art” Putnam in 1967. In 1984, after graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Business Information Systems, Nita joined her father in the business. Customer Service
The company was built around being available, helpful, and dependable when customers need support.
Practical Fit
ESI looks for solutions that address the real communication problem instead of assuming the most sophisticated option is automatically the best one.
Respect the Budget
The goal is to improve communication with minimum unnecessary impact on the customer’s budget.
Plan for Growth
System enhancements and upgrades are considered with compatibility, current needs, and future growth in mind.
PRESIDENT / CEO
Nita R. Putnam
Nita entered the telecommunications industry at a time of major change. She joined Executive Systems after graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1984 and eventually assumed operations after her father retired.
Her experience spans the industry’s transition from traditional answering machines, automated attendants, voicemail and PBX systems to today’s hosted and cloud-based voice communications. Through those changes, the company has continued to focus on helping businesses choose communication tools that fit their needs, budget, existing equipment, and plans for growth.
The Putnam family philosophy has remained straightforward: customers and quality matter.
A BUSINESS TOOL, NOT JUST A PHONE
Your communication system should earn its worth.
ESI’s long-standing view is that business communications should help companies serve customers, manage work more efficiently, and make the most of opportunities—not simply add technology for technology’s sake.
Make Every Call Count
How a business answers the phone contributes to a caller’s first impression. A system should help customers reach the right people without unnecessary friction.
Improve Efficiency
Call capacity, routing, and distribution can affect how effectively staff serve customers and manage daily telephone traffic.
Protect the Investment
Upgrading only what is needed, keeping compatibility in mind, and choosing dependable equipment can help extend the useful life of a communications investment.
SERVICE AFTER THE SALE
Support is part of the system.
Executive Systems has long emphasized experienced, factory-trained service, timely repairs, customer training, and careful product selection. The live-site philosophy is simple: customers should not have to experiment with poorly supported equipment when dependable alternatives are available.
Where the equipment supports it, remote diagnostics can also help with repairs, additions, and changes to existing systems.
A LONG-TERM VIEW
Choose what works. Support it well. Change it when the business needs to change.
That approach has allowed ESI to move from early telephone and messaging products into modern hosted and cloud-based communications while keeping the customer relationship at the center.
